Professional Music Education Workshops
At Sound Safari, we strive to bring the joy of music education to every child.

Why is Music Education important?
The reason behind our workshops
Music sits at the heart of our community, so why not be at the heart of our education? Music has a strong impact on a child’s mind, yet is slowly being removed from their lives, through the loss of music education in many schools.
At Sound Safari we aim to bring music back into the local community by providing music workshops which can be tailor made to whatever cross-curriculum subject you chose.
It is so important that music education is a part of a child's life, as Music helps a child's mind progress in many ways.
It is known to:
Improve innovative and social skills
Build a child’s capability for teamwork
Increase creativity
Help overall ability to learn core subjects
Aid with mental health and personal growth

By bringing these workshops into the local community we hope to develop music education within schools, and ensure a child gets the best start to life possible.
Services
Expertise. Intuition. Creativity
We provide a unique music workshop experience. Tailored to the age and class size. As well as educational skill set. Creating a programme which will work for anyone who wants to take part.
During the workshops we incorporate music, and fitness. Keeping the activities fun, in order to keep the class engaged throughout the afternoon. Teaching the rhythms with use of the patterns given from the phonetics in the names of animals. Fun animal masks and costumes are available, separating the classes into rhythmic groups. Making the day more fun and engaging.
The first set of activities we provide during the day are highly movement based and fast paced. With the last activity of the afternoon then being more relaxed. This is needed to centre the children once again towards learning and calm the class down, through interactive story-telling and group singing. Adapting the plan is possible for different age groups taking part.

For extra curriculum clubs we are able to work towards weekly goals with the students, providing more in depth musical knowledge into the area in which your school desires. The lesson plans are kept fun, but aim to develop the children to a Graded standard.
